"Invitation Only: Reba McEntire" Premieres Aug. 21 on CMT

Posted by Courtney Drake on 08/13/2009

Reba McEntire will perform tunes from her upcoming album and answer questions from fans during CMT's Invitation Only: Reba McEntire. The episode was taped in front of a small studio audience in Nashville and will premiere on CMT on Friday, Aug. 21, at 9 p.m. EST.
In the one-hour special, Reba sings some of her greatest hits from her 30-year career, including “Why Haven’t I Heard From You” and “The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia.” She also previews songs from her soon-to-be-released album, Keep On Loving You, like her new single, 'Consider Me Gone." In the Q&A session, she reveals what it's like to be regarded as an influence on today’s new artists and what she would be doing if she weren’t in the entertainment business.
Reba has sold more than 55 million albums worldwide and her last 13 studio albums have all achieved platinum-plus status. "Strange," the first single off Keep On Loving You, became her second consecutive Top 10 single of 2009.
