As most people know, Toby Keith is one of U.S. Soldier's biggest supporters as he frequently travels across the country and the nation to play for the troops. This April, while Toby was in Afghanistan for a USO Tour, he met a soldier who asked him for a favor. But in all honesty, he never thought it would actually happen.
Sgt. Allen McKenna II (Robby) asked Toby to personally deliver a birthday present to his stepmom who's birthday is July 8 (the same day as Toby's). On June 13, the McKenna family was completely surprised when they recieved a knock on the door from Toby Keith himself and his friend, Curt Motley.
Coincidently, Robby happened to call home that night, and Toby answered the phone. He let him know that he had kept his word and Robby put him on speaker phone for all of his surrounding troup members would hear.
The McKenna's said, "We want everyone to know what kind of person Toby Keith is. He's a hard worker. He loves his country. He cares for the soldiers. And he's a 'man of his word' and we know these things are facts."
