The Academy of Country Music has announced that Lee Ann Womack will host the 2nd Annual ACM Honors on Sept. 22 at the Schemerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. The ceremony will salute the special honorees and off-camera category winners from the ACM Awards.
“I’m so happy the Academy asked me to host the ACM Honors,” said Lee Ann Womack, a five-time ACM Award recipient. “Without the good work of so many of these honorees, country music would just not be what it is today, so I’m delighted to be able to help salute them.”
Those being honored include Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Hank Williams, Jr., and many others.
