Lonestar's "Amazed" Still Big Overseas After 10 Years

Today, the U.K.'s most played first dance song at weddings is Lonestar's "Amazed." According to GACtv.com, "ten years ago this week, Lonestar’s 'Amazed' was the No. 1 single on the Billboard country charts in the U.S. This week, the group remains at No. 1 in the U.K., according to GAC.

What makes this song even more special is that during the writing of this song, two of the songwriters, Aimee Mayo and Chris Lindsey fell in love and later got married.  The two have also written the hits "Let's Make Love," for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, "This One's For the Girls," for Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler's "Red High Heels," and Caitlin and Will's "Address In The Stars."

Other country songs that appear on the top ten list of wedding songs in the U.K. are Shania Twain's "From This Moment On," and "You're Still The One."
