Hank Williams Jr. is calling it quits with his current label, Curb Records. Although the recently released 127 Rose Avenue is doing well, Williams told CMT, "You want to know the bottom line? This is my last album [for Mike Curb], and he's history.

"You just wait. We'll have a lot to talk about. I've had some recording ideas that they didn't care for. Well, there's a lot of other labels that do care about it,” Williams said of moving forward.

The singer/songwriter claims the artistic differences with Curb Records included a "ho-hum" album cover and lack of enthusiasm for the project. "We're going to get off this old, dead sinking ship.

Despite Williams sharp words about his soon-to-be-ex-label, he is proud of his work on 127 Rose Avenue. "'Gulf Shore Road' is one of the greatest songs I've ever written," Williams said, and added, "and so is 'All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over to Gulf Shore Road.'"

The album has already made history; it was released on the same day as his daughter, Holly Williams' Here With Me and the posthumous The Unreleased Recordings: Gospel Keepsakes from Hank Williams Sr., marking the first ever triple family album release date.
