Shooter Jennings proposed to longtime girlfriend Drea de Matteo Thursday night at his concert in Utica, N.Y. Jennings was on stage when he popped the question.
“[Drea] was dancing on the side of the stage holding [the couple’s 18-month-old daughter] Alabama when [Shooter] called her on stage,” a source told People. “She was so surprised by the proposal.”
Jennings, who has been dating de Matteo since 2001, Tweeted the good news on
Twitter: “Asked drea to marry me on stage tonight. I’m a lucky man…she said yes but she’s mad.”
The couple, who have been dating since 2001, have an 18-month-old daughter, Alabama Gypsyrose.
