In the last year, Blake Shelton has scored two consecutive hit singles, "Home" and "She Wouldn't Be Gone," and such success has put a lot of pressure on the towering singer to prove his worth.
"This turns heads a lot more, and this makes people take a closer look at my overall career and where its heading and everything from what radio expects from me on this single and right down to what promoters are looking at out on the road," Shelton told Dial-Global. "Now comes the pressure, because now it's my time to showcase what I think I can do overall, not just find another No. 1 hit. I mean, everything that encompasses my career now is being looked at."
Shelton current sngle, "I'll Just Hold On," is at No. 21 on the USA Today Mediabase Country chart and rising. Right now, he's opening for ACM Artist of the Decade George Strait on tour.
