Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean and Trace Adkins have been added to the list of performers for the 2009 CMT Music Awards. These Country artists add to the list of previously announced performers which include Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Sugarland, Def Leopard and Toby Keith.
The first round of fan voting ended on May 11, but on May 19, Kellie Pickler and CMT host Lance Smith will announce the top four nominees from each category. Then voting for the No. 1 spot will be open until June 15.
The awards will be held in Nashville on June 16 and will air live at 8 p.m. on CMT and CMT.com. To vote for the awards, visit CMT.com.
