As another busy summer, packed with concerts, tours and events, approaches. GAC has created a series of specials that will feature artists such as Heidi Newfield, Keith Urban, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Pat Green, Josh Turner, Montgomery Gentry, Rodney Atkins and many more.
Sarah Trahern, Senior Vice President for programming at GAC, said, "We listen to what the fans want and are working hard to continue to bring the stars to them."
So far, the line up for GAC's Superstar Summer is as follows:
May 17: Superstar Sessions with Kenny Chesney, a two-hour celebration of his video hits.
May 21: GAC Nights with George Strait, a rare interview with the King and commentary from some of his fellow artists.
May 22: Top 20 Country Countdown features Montgomery Gentry as the duo talks about its work with the Wounded Warrior project.
May 28: Conversations From The Road With Keith Urban, where GAC gets an inside look at the singer’s Escape Together World Tour.
June 3: Top 20 Songs Of Summer, a countdown of the biggest seasonal hits with hosts Heidi Newfield and Pat Green.
June 12: Top 20 Countdown includes highlights from the CMA Music Festival, which promises performances by Taylor Swift, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and the Zac Brown Band.
June 14: Drafting Partners matches singer Josh Turner with NASCAR driver Ryan Newman.
June 16-18: GAC Nights presents three straight nights of CMA Music Festival coverage. Artists participating in the festival include Little Big Town, Reba McEntire, Lee Ann Womack and Jason Aldean.
July 2: Drafting Partners pairs Rodney Atkins and racing pro Michael Waltrip.
July 11: GAC presents a three-hour block of Kenny Chesney video programming.
Sept. 5-7: The Collection captures the story behind the video for projects by Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins.
