Sugarland has been forced to bow out of the opening slot for Keith Urban's Escape Together World Tour, for now anyways. Jennifer Nettles was put on vocal rest, CountryStandardTime.com reported yesterday. The duo's Web site states that Nettles "received doctor's orders to rest her voice for the next 10 days due to a viral tonsil condition."
Sugarland was not there for the opening night of Urban's tour last night in Uncasville, Conn. Jason Aldean and Little Big Town were announced as replacements, with Aldean appearing May 7 and Little Big Town scheduled for tonight. No replacement has been announced yet for Urban's stop in State College, Pa. on May 9.
