For the fifth year in a row, New York City will be home to the CMA Songwriters Series, a showcasing of Nashville's best in the Big Apple. The show, which takes place in Joe's Pub, will take place May 21 and is hosted by Bob DiPiero, famous for writing some of Nashville's most memorable music.
"Bob has done an outstanding job in bringing many of Nashville's greatest songwriters to New York and this lineup is particularly impressive," said CMA CEO Tammy Genovese.
Other songwriters that are scheduled to be in attendance include Jimmy Wayne, Scotty Emerick and Dean Dillon.
"Combining a legend like Dean Dillon with Scotty Emerick and Jimmy Wayne, two talents that have risen to prominence over the last few years, will make for a fascinating and entertaining night of music," Genovese said.
Tickets for the Joe's Pub show are $25 and can be purchased at www.joespub.com or by calling 212-967-7555.
