Jason Aldean has taken a turn in covering Neil Diamond, but you won't hear any of it on his next album. You will only hear it in local bars, GACtv.com reported.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Aldean said that he loved to get up at Karaoke bars and sing songs that he is not used to singing, including The Eagles, Stevie Wonder and, of course, Neil Diamond.
"I think that is the funnest thing ever- to get really drunk and go to a karaoke bar and get up there, act stupid," he told interviewers. "I like to get up there and sing stuff that I would never sing on stage anywhere else, like Neil Diamond. 'Sweet Caroline' is one of my standards.
"Sometimes I'll get in there and do something really cool, like Otis Redding or Dobie Gray's 'Drift Away,' if I'm not smashed yet, as kind of a warmup for 'Sweet Caroline.'"
