Fans looking forward to hearing Reba McEntire's newest single, "Strange," will be able to check out the song before it hits the radio airwaves. After her performance on the ACM awards on April 5, CMT.com will begin play of the song on their site. Offcially the song will debut on the radio the following day, April 6.
CMT will be promoting the single through several of its shows, including CMT Top 20 Countdown and CMT Insider.
"Strange" is the first single off McEntire's new album, set to release in late summer 2009. The album will be her first solo album in six years, along with her first from The Valory Music Co.
Her record company also announced that fans can get a sneak peak of the song by visiting www.thevalorymusicco.com/reba. The site also includes a countdown to McEntire's performance at the ACMs and a special message from the singer.
