Garth Brooks is known for being the best-selling Country artist of all time and though he is retired, he continues to keep giving back to his fans. As a token of his appreciation, Brooks is releasing an upcoming biography on his life and a closer look at what is is like to be "credited with singlehandly changing Country Music," according to DigitalRodeo.com.
The Garth Factor: The Career Behind Country's Big Boom, was authored by well-known journalist Patsi Bale Cox. Cox worked with Brooks' label during his peak years, serving as a former magazine editor at Capitol Records.
"I saw what went down from both sides." Cox said in a 2008 interview. "One thing the book will show is that even the biggest superstars have to watch their backs when it comes to contracts, record labels and executives."
The Garth Factor: The Career Behind Country's Big Boom, will be available in stores May 28.
