Darius Rucker is two for two. His single, “It Won’t Be Like This For Long,” has been on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 22 weeks and has finally grasped the No. 1 spot, according to Country Standard Time. Rucker’s last single, “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It,” was also a No. 1 hit.
Last week, Keith Urban held the No. 1 position for “Sweet Thing,” but fell two spots this week when Brooks & Dunn featuring Reba McEntire moved up to No. 2 with their single, “Cowgirls Don’t Cry.” George Strait’s “River of Love” claimed No. 4, and Taylor Swift took over No. 5 with “White Horse.”

Swift still holds her position with Fearless remaining at No. 1 on the Country Albums chart. She is followed by Zac Brown Band’s The Foundation, which moved up two spots this week. Rucker’s Learn to Live maintained its position at No. 3, and Swift’s self-titled first album moved up one spot to No. 4. Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride was bumped up two spots to No. 5.
Also this week Ronnie Millsap’s gospel album, Then Sings My Soul: 24 Favorite Hymns & Gospel Songs Star Songs, made its chart debut at No.19. The biggest jump of the week was made by Dierks Bentley when his single, “Sideways,” moved up seven spots to No. 25.
