The album also reunites Caroll with Don Gehman, who helped with Carroll’s first album, Waitin’ in the Country, which appeared at was a #1 hit in its first week.     Growing Up Is Getting Old reflects on Carroll’s youthful, party-going spirit, but also hones in on his responsibilities as a father of four. The three songs Carroll co-wrote are inspired by love and family with “We Threw It All Away,” Hurry Home,” and “Tears,” a post-divorce reflection.   The first single from Growing Up is Getting Old is “Where I’m From.” The single explains the common ground everyone shares beyond all surface issues and differences.  Since its release, “Where I’m From” has made head-way on the charts, this week appearing at #24 on the Billboard R&R and Country Aircheck airplay charts. The single is available now by any online music providers.
