Sarah Jarosz Up-and-coming artist Sarah Jarosz, signed with Sugar Hill Records, writes, sings, produces and plays several instruments, at only seventeen years old. Originally from Austin, Texas, Jarosz hit the stage at age twelve, performing bluegrass music with legends such as Ricky Skaggs and David Grisman. She can play the mandolin as well as the banjo, but what stands out the most is her velvety yet powerful vocals. Fellow singer-banjo player, Abigail Washburn says about Jarosz, “As a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter she attracts the finest musicians into her musical fold.
