Working on John Mellencamp’s latest music video, "A Ride Back Home," has been an incredible honor for the group Little Big Town, who has played small roles in Mellencamp’s tours over the past two or three years, opening for him on some dates and providing background vocals on others. The video for “A Ride Back Home,” from Mellencamp's new album, Life, Death, Love, And Freedom, was shot in the Beck Chapel at Indiana University on Feb. 16, reported GACtv.com. "I think the rich people have had it too good too long," Mellencamp said at the video shoot. "And it's time for the normal common man to go out and go to work and make money and let him have [the] opportunity to live the American dream."Always the man to answer the blue-collar cry, Mellencamp, an Indiana native, has long since based songs around politics, injustice and common folks trials and tribulations.
