Country Stars Bring Home Grammy's

Many Country artists walked away with Grammy’s last night, Feb. 8, at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. Along with winning, there were also many Country artists who performed on the show as well. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Sugarland, Allison Krauss and Robert Plant all performed as well as Taylor Swift with peer Miley Cyrus.The big winners of the night were Allison Krauss and Robert Plant, taking away five Grammys. Some of these include Best Country Collaboration, Best Pop Collaboration and Album of the Year. George Strait walked away with his very first Grammy last night for Best Country Album, Troubadour. Other winners include Carrie Underwood for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “Last Name.” Brad Paisley took home the award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for “Letter to Me,” as well as Best Country Instrumental Performance with a group including Vince Gill. Sugarland’s “Stay,” Jennifer Nettles wrote herself, got them Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group, along with Best Country Song, which.
