Online, tabloids criticized Simpson for appearing at a South Florida concert looking a little fuller figured and wearing what they referred to as "mom jeans." Amid the chaos of the media, she still performed as the opening act for Rascal Flatts at their Charlottesville, Va., concert. The crowds cheered her on when she appeared on stage wearing a pair of figure-hugging, black leather jeans and a matching black jacket.
