A beautiful lakeside home once owned by Country Music legend Tammy Wynette in the early 1980s nearly burned to the ground on Sunday evening. According to Hendersonville Fire Inspector, Bob Galoppi, firefighters were called by neighbors to the home that was fully covered in flames. Galoppi said the homes’ owners, Kuan Vuong and Thuy Nguyen, were away celebrating the Chinese New Year during the time of the incident. “Around 90 percent of the home was on fire when the firefighters arrived,” Galoppi said of the home that was valued at an estimated $1.5 million. The home is said to be a total loss with fire, water and smoke damage. It is too soon to tell the actual cause of the fire.
