He is one of several musicians recognized for their service to music. Plant, who gained fame as the lead singer of Led Zeppelin, collaborated with Alison Krauss on Raising Sand, and garnered Grammy nominations for album of the year, record of the year, best contemporary folk/Americana album, best pop collaboration with vocals and best country collaboration with vocals.
