Trace Adkins and Alan Jackson have spent the last month on a fall tour, which runs through Nov. 23. In talking about touring with Jackson, Adkins said, “You can look at the way Alan walks and tell that he’s not really too concerned. I have never seen that man even hint at the fact that he was in a hurry to do anything. You talk about laid back, sheesh! That boy is laid back.”Adkins continued, “I am practically in a coma. He and I have put each other in a coma on this tour. Poor old (tour mate) James Otto. He’s like, ‘These two guys are like watching grass grow.’”Jackson knows he has a very calm and relaxed persona on stage. In concert, the Country legend himself said, “We’re pretty laid back. We just pick and sing.”Adkins enjoys the calm environment, though. “Really, the whole attitude and mood of this tour is very, very laid back. We come into town, and we ease on up to the venue,” he said, speaking slowly. “Then we ease on out on the stage. Then we ease on out of town.”
