Multi-platinum artist Martina McBride will have the honor of turning on Elvis’ traditional blue holiday lights and decorations at Graceland this year. On Nov. 21 in Memphis, McBride will start the traditional lighting of the 13.8 acres of Graceland property. The area is open to the public, and fans also can join the ceremonies online at www.elvis.com from the GracelandCam. McBride recently recorded the Elvis classic “Blue Christmas” for the new Elvis Presley Christmas Duets, released this month on Sony Legacy.Elvis Presley Christmas Duets album is the first Elvis duets album in history. The CD features today’s biggest women in Country Music including Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Sara Evans and Wynonna Judd.State-of-the-art technology was used to create these duets, and for authenticity, the album was recorded in the famous RCA Studio B in Nashville, which is the exact studio where Elvis recorded the 1971 original Christmas sessions.In addition to her Elvis Christmas duties, McBride is currently in the studio working on her upcoming studio album set for release in 2009.The following is a track listing for the Elvis Presley Christmas Duets album:1.
