The Recording Industry Association of America announced Tim McGraw’s Greatest Hits and Sugarland’s Love on the Inside are among the latest to receive platinum certification during September. Albums are eligible for the RIAA’s platinum award for the sale of 1 million copies. Love on the Inside is Sugarland’s third album — the duo's other two albums have multi-platinum certification. The album was released on July 22 of this year. McGraw’s Greatest Hits, which was released in 2000, received sextuple platinum certification for the sale of 6 million copies. Overall, McGraw ranks in at No. 44 on the RIAA’s list of Top Selling Artists, with 35 million certified units sold. Taylor Swift also received gold certification for her single, “Should’ve Said No,” during the month of September. The single had more than 500,000 digital downloads.
