Country Music artists Sugarland and Kenny Chesney took home the top awards from the 2008 International Entertainment Buyers Association Honors dinner this past Tuesday night in Nashville.Chesney was honored with the large venue artist of the year, while Sugarland was awarded in the small venue artist category. The CMA Music Festival in Nashville took festival of the year, while the Sommet Center in Nasville earned venue of the year.The IEBA Honors rounds out the IEBA conference, attended by talent buyers, agents, promoters and managers in the music industry. Performers included Crysal Gayle, Diamand Rio and Joe Nichols. A special performance from Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina accompanied their lifetime achievement award.
