Willie Nelson has co-authored a new book with Mike Blakely titled "A Tale Out of Luck." The book, according to Country Standard Time, is a classic western tale that brings to life characters and themes central to a Wild West novel - Texas Rangers, cattle rustling, Indian warriors, women of ill repute, saloons, shootouts and more. The book is set in the false-front western town Nelson constructed outside Austin, Texas. The town, named "Luck," has served as the backdrop for a variety of events and productions, including commercials and the Country Music video with Toby Keith, "Beer for My Horses."
Blakely is the author of several historical western novels. A singer/songwriter with six CDs of his own, he lives in Marble Falls, Texas.
