Bad Luck For Another Nashville Star Winner

The misfortunes continue for yet another Nashville Star winner. Angela Hacker, who won the fifth season of Nashville Star, is no longer on the roster of artistsĀ for Warner Brothers Records, leaving the hopeful singer without a major record deal, countrystandardtime.com reported. After winning Nashville Star, Hacker was promised the release of a studio album, to be tiltled "The Winner Is Angela Hacker." Only a promotional cd was released, though. According to Hacker's Web site, "Currently Angela is working again as an independent artist with Fame/EMI." Other Nashville Star winners without a major record label deal are Buddy Jewell and Brad Cotter. The most successful of Nashville Star contetants has been Miranda Lambert from the first season, who did not win.
