These days Country Music is extending a charitable hand everywhere you look, and performers Ash Bowers, Adam Gregory, The Harters and Broken Bow Records are no exception. The Broken Bow Records Back to School Monster Truck and Music Bash, taking place on Saturday, Aug. 23, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., is a night of free family-friendly entertainment for hundreds of children from several children's charities. The Pencil Foundation, The Boys & Girls Club, The YMCA, 100 Kings, Youth Enrichment Services (YES) and Special Kids, Inc. are among the Nashville-based charities attending the event. "Fortunately for us, one of the greatest assets we have at the Nashville Super Speedway is the seating capacity," said Broken Bow's Jim Yerger, who also serves as Executive Vice President of the Monster Truck Challenge. "Rather than have the seats go unattended it's a far greater service to us to provide a great day of fun and excitement for the less fortunate children in the community." After the monster truck excitement, attendees will be graced with a concert from Gregory, Bowers and The Harters. For ticket information, visit www.nashvillesuperspeedway.com.
