Country superstar Martina McBride came up with a new promotion this week for her fall tour: surprise fans with a meet and greet. Two pairs of passes will allow four lucky fans to meet McBride, take photographs and receive an autograph. The passes will be hidden inside two copies of the official tour book, sold at the merchandise tables. The promotion is being tested starting this Friday, Sept. 19, at the Hartford, Conn., show, then again in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. The meet and greet surprise could become a permanent part of McBride's tour. The recently turned 42-year-old songstress spoke to GAC.com this week about being in her forties, "Sometimes you handle it gracefully, and sometimes you think 'This really sucks' and sometimes you think 'How can I be this age?'" The 2008 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee is currently working on a new album, due out in early 2009.  Currently out is her 2007 release, Timeless, and her Live in Concert CD/DVD package, released this past spring.
