Popular artists like Toby Keith, Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello recently taped a Christmas special with Stephen Colbert, one of Comedy Central’s biggest stars. The special will also feature Feist, John Legend and Jon Stewart. Most of the music from the show was written by Adam Schlesinger, a member of the band Fountains of Wayne. The show will include solo and duet songs along with a group performance of "(What’s So Funny ‘bout) Peace, Love and Understanding.”The show will air on Comedy Central Sunday on Nov. 23 at 10 p.m. EST. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, a DVD will be released with special bonus features. Part of the proceeds from DVD sales will go to Feeding America, formerly known as America’s Second Harvest.
