Texan Melissa Lawson was crowned the NBC show’s winner last night and has received a record contract from Warner Bros. Records. After being named champion, Lawson performed what will be her first single, the John Rich produced “What If It All Goes Right.” The song was sent to Country radio stations this morning. Fans can catch performances by Lawson both on television and in person in the near future. She will give a performance from the Summer Olympics in Beijing on NBC’s morning show Today on August 12 and will also embark on a concert tour with fellow Nashville Star finalists Gabe Garcia, Shawn Mayer and Coffey beginning in September.
