Bluegrass legends Del McCoury and Kathy Mattea will announce the International Bluegrass Music Awards nominees on Thurs., Aug. 14, at a press conference held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Honorees for the Distinguished Achievement Award and this year's IBMA Hall of Fame inductees will also be announced at the press conference.
The 19th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards will take place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Oct. 2 as a precursor to the IBMA Blugrass Fan Fest Oct. 3-5, which will take place at the Nashville Convention Center.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Bluegrass Trust Fund, which aids bluegrass professionals during times of need. Tickets for all events are available at www.ibma.org or by calling 888-GET-IBMA (615) 256-3222.
