Americana artist Justin Townes Earle is set to play the Americana Music Awards September 18 in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium. Earle is nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year and is joining many legendary artists on the bill to perform. The new video for his single The Good Life is also set to premiere on Amazon.com August 11.
Artists like Buddy Miller, John Hiatt and Jim Lauderdale will also be performing at the awards. Joan Baez will be in attendance to accept the Spirit of Americana, Free Speech of Music award from Earle’s father, Steve Earle.
