It appears Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks have still not buried the hatchet in a feud that has now gone on for five years.
According to
contactmusic.com, the two Country Music acts were slated to appear in a new global warming ad for the Alliance for Climate Protection to prove that people with opposing political views can at least agree about some things. However, a schedule could not be agreed upon, and Keith is claiming it’s the girl-group who was not flexible.
"It's hard to get people that don't get along to agree when all those egos and stuff are involved," he said.
The Dixie Chicks and Keith have been on bad terms since 2003 when he took offense to comments made by the girls against President George W. Bush at a concert in London.
