Dan Tyminksi, lead singer on the Soggy Bottom Boys’ “I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow”, and his wife helped save the life of an individual involved in a four-wheeler crash earlier this week in Franklin, Tenn.
Elise Tyminski, a nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center, discovered the accident while walking the dog and had Dan call 911 while she worked to slow the victim’s bleeding head wound. A pulley system had to be used to lift the vehicle off the victim. The injured individual was taken to Vanderbilt by helicopter and is expected to recover.
Dan, who is also a guitar player and vocalist in Alison Krauss + Union Station, released his second solo album, Wheels, last month. He is currently playing concerts in support of the album.
