6/19/2008 Sandy Paul Eric Church teams with Vanderbilt Students Country Music artist Eric Church is working with Vanderbilt University’s Summer Business Institute for Accelerator 2008, a group of students who will develop and propose solutions to various business challenges. Church became involved with Vanderbilt after The William Morris Agency, a literary and talent agency, offered him as their client subject to the project. The agency sponsored a presentation along with Church, whose second album Carolina will be released in the fall, for participants and 150 members of Church’s fan club, “The Church Choir,” June 16 at Ford Theatre. Church performed songs from his debut album, Sinners Like Me, along with tracks from his new album such as “His Kind Of Money (My Kind Of Love).” He also participated in an interview and discussions about the crucial aspects of his rapidly-growing success. “The consulting project for Eric Church is a big wow-factor for our students,” Vanderbilt Professor Kimberly Pace said. “They are used to solving business problems for big companies, but this is more personal.”
