6/5/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer   After two years, Josh Turner will be back on the CMA Music Festival stage at LP Field.  Turner will be performing Friday, June 6, with fellow Country Music artists Faith Hill, Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood. The night-ending show is quite a change from his first visit to the festival in 2006, where he sang on the daytime stage at Riverfront Park. Turner said of the show in a CMT News article this week, "There are just so many people. With it being taped [for television], there's a lot of pressure involved. The adrenaline gets flowing. There are nerves. I just think it makes me concentrate more." The platinum-selling artist has earned his spot on the stage, and is proud of his chance to stand there. "That's the way everyone ends their day," he said, "and when they go to the show at LP Field, it's kind of their way of unwinding and relaxing. That's what they've been looking forward to—seeing all of their favorite artists." Turner's wife, Jennifer, will join him as a keyboard player and backup vocalist. Fans that are not able to catch Turner tomorrow night can find him on the big screen with Martin Landau and Lindsey Wagner this fall in the Billy Graham biopic, Billy: The Early Years. Turner plays George Beverly Shea, a gospel singer and friend of Billy Graham.
