5/16/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Country Music star Shania Twain and husband Robert "Mutt" Lange have separated after 14 years of marriage. The information was released in a statement from the couple’s representative on Thursday. Further comment about the separation or an upcoming divorce has not been confirmed. The Country Music power couple created Twain’s three multi-platinum albums, including The Woman in Me and Come On Over, with Lange co-writing nearly all of his wife’s chart-topping singles. Lange's previous work was in rock music, producing acts such as Bryan Adams, AC/DC, Def Leppard and Foreigner. He also has produced albums for the likes of Celine Dion, the Backstreet Boys and The Corrs. Twain and Lange met in 1993 and married the same year. They have one son, Eja, born in 2001.
