Country Music Award winner Trisha Yearwood is very picky about the kind of music she records. The singer always wants it to be something that she will still be proud of many years down the road. So, when Country star Josh Turner approached Yearwood to sing a duet, she had to think about it. However, Trisha immediately took a liking to Josh, which is why she decided to work with him. Plus, her decision to team up with Josh has them both reaping the benefits. Josh and Trisha’s duet “Another Try” has made the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, as well as being in the Top 10 on GAC’s top 20 Country Countdown. “I was a fan of his already,” Yearwood said. “I just think he’s the real deal.” Nonetheless, Trisha still had to hear the song before she would agree to the partnership. “I was immediately intrigued, just because I love his voice, but I wanted to hear the song first,” Trisha said. “When that song arrived in the mail, I was just like ‘This is a hit.’ I think it’s beautiful.
