"I am just thrilled! The Make-A-Wish Foundation is near and dear to my heart," Bryna said in a press release Monday. "I have been involved with the organization since I was a teenager, and to be asked to become a board member for the chapter where I learned about the Foundation is such an honor!" The Maryland native became involved in the foundation after her 13-year-old brother suffered a brain aneurism, which left him in a coma for six months. Inspired by her work with the non-profit, she co-wrote a song called "Make A Wish," which appears on her debut CD, Trying To Be Me. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc. is a non-profit organization that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The organization, founded in 1983, works with children in Maryland, The District of Columbia, Delaware and Northern Virginia.  For more information visit http://www.midatlanticwish.org.
