2008 CMA Awards Announce Hosts

Awards shows have been opting for multiple hosts lately, and the CMA Awards is no exception. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have been announced as hosts for the 2008 CMA Awards, to take place Nov. 12 live from the Sommet Center in Nashville.Although the pair have toured and performed together before, hosting the CMAs is a first-time duty for both Paisley and Underwood, who are the reigning CMA Male and Female Vocalist winners. Both artists also will perform in addition to their hosting duties."I am so excited to host a show I grew up watching, and am so thrilled to spend this night with the fans and Brad," said Underwood. "It's going to be a party!"Country Music artists Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and more are scheduled to perform at the event."I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to host the Awards show. We're going to have a good time - start to finish," Paisley promised.
