Naomi Judd, who’s been with husband Larry Strickland for 27 years, recently offered some marital advice to readers of OK! magazine. The secret to a happy marriage, according to Naomi? “A snore guard. My husband snores. For Valentine’s Day he got himself a snore guard. Not very romantic, but I love it. And separate bathrooms.” In the article, Naomi also discusses her recent vacation on a private island in the Caribbean, where she joined her “dear friend” Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2, and his wife, Ali. “I’m laying there with Bono, and we’re just talking about goofy stuff and punching each other because we’re laughing so hard,” she says. Asked to reveal something about herself that not many people may know, Naomi admits she’s “a forensic pathology junkie. Forensic scientist. One of my best girlfriends is the world’s leading expert on serial killers, Dr. Helen Morrison, so I read forensic psychology.” Naomi, who recently turned 62, will host the Prilosec OTC Bunco Championship in Las Vegas from Mar. 7-9, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. And on May 3 and 4, she’ll join daughter Wynonna for a Judds reunion (their first in seven years), as the duo headline the 2008 Stagecoach Festival in Indio, Calif.
