1/2/2008 Stephen L. Betts Vince Gill, Hal Ketchum, and Kathy Mattea are among the artists performing this month at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe for a series of benefit concerts. The performers and the venue are donating all proceeds from the performances to Alive Hospice. The concert series kicked off last night (1/2) with Hal Ketchum welcoming singer-songwriters Jon Randall, Billy Burnette, Shawn Camp, Gary Nicholson, and Peter Wasner. Kathy Mattea's appearance (1/9) will feature her husband Jon Vezner, along with singer-songwriters Kim Richey and Pat Donohue. Vince Gill and wife Amy Grant take the stage Jan. 23. Also appearing at additional Bluebird shows to benefit Alive Hospice this month are Suzy Bogguss, Michael Peterson, Matraca Berg, Sam Bush, Eric Heatherly, and Kim Carnes.
