12/19/2007 Stephen L. Betts One of Garth Brooks’ favorite things about the Christmas holiday is the homemade fudge made from the Brooks family recipe. Garth's late mother, Colleen Brooks, made the fudge when he was a youngster, and then passed the recipe on to his sister Betsy. Last month, Garth's 11-year-old daughter Allie Colleen - named after her grandmother -- made her first batch of the homemade treat. “This Christmas, it will be another Colleen that's making the fudge,” says Garth, adding, “…Things live on, and I think that's what I love most about Christmas.”
