11/28/2007 Stephen L. Betts Brooks & Dunn are headed Down Under for their first Australian tour early next year. Tickets for their first show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Feb. 29 sold out in a single weekend, prompting the addition of a second BrisbaneMelbourne and a March 10 stop at the Acer Arena in Sydney, NSW. show on March 1, followed by a Mar. 5 show at the Rod Laver Arena in “We were kinda nervous about going,” says Kix Brooks. “We were afraid nobody ‘Down Under’ had heard of us!” Adds Ronnie Dunn, “But once the first show sold out, we said, ‘Bring it on!’” The duo’s latest single, “God Must Be Busy,” from the album Cowboy Town, is currently climbing the country airplay chart.
