Posted by amyclark on 08/19/2008

11/14/2007 Stephen L. Betts Jason Aldean is partnering with Wal-Mart next month to provide fans with an exclusive original performance through its "Soundcheck" series. A bonus disc will be packaged as a companion to Jason’s No. 1 album Relentless. It will be available for purchase in store and online beginning Dec. 2. A segment of the performance (shot in hi-def) will be featured nationwide in over 3,000 stores on Wal-Mart TV throughout the month of December. "Soundcheck" was taped earlier this fall in a Nashville studio and includes the Georgia native's hit singles "Hicktown," "Why," "Amarillo Sky" and "Johnny Cash. Jason’s current hit, "Laughed Until We Cried," is included, along with exclusive interview footage. The “Soundcheck” series also features pop acts Maroon 5, Rihanna and Fall Out Boy. Jason recently wrapped a year-long tour with Rascal Flatts, and will be headlining a series of his own shows in the coming months.
