Grammy winning singer, songwriter and entertainer Travis Tritt will release his first single in six years, "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough," on this Father's Day, Sunday, June 16. A remake of the Patty Smyth and Don Henley duet, Tritt sings the song with his 15-year-old daughter Tyler Reese.

Originally recorded for his 2007 album The Storm, the track was shelved when a suitable duet partner could not be secured in time for the album's release. Last year, Tritt received ownership of the album's masters from his former label. And, in the interim, a duet partner materialized ... in his own family.

"Last year we were driving home from a wedding in Florida when the song came up on my iPod," Travis explains. "My 15-year-old daughter Tyler Reese had never heard the song, and she started singing along in the backseat. When it ended she made me play it again five or six more times. I was listening, but didn't say anything.

"When we got home, I told my wife that I thought Tyler Reese could really do a great job on this song. We agreed and I took her in the studio to sing her parts. I know I sound like a biased parent, but she's got a lot of talent and charisma. The recording speaks for itself. She really nailed it."

"Sometimes" is the first single from an upcoming re-release of the album. A video has already been shot and will soon be released to cable and online outlets. Meanwhile, Travis continues his full slate of touring.

Coming off his acclaimed solo-acoustic shows last year, Travis is back on the road with his full band. Currently in the midst of a West Coast swing, he has a full summer and will be joined on select dates by Tyler Reese. Itinerary to date:
