Brad Paisley’s VirtualReality World Tour played its final U.S. show this past Saturday night to a sold-out show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Paisley’s 2012 tour has played to over one million fans in the U.S. and still has six international shows scheduled for November.

“Wrapping up a 10-month tour, the musician captivated a packed crowd as a guitar hero, humorist, country boundary-expander, and all around musical multi-threat,”  Hollywood Reporter review of the Hollywood Bowl show.

Paisley tours are known for their pranks and the last few shows of a tour are usually full of surprises.  This past weekend’sshows were no different.

When the tour stopped in San Diego last Thursday The Band Perry was taken off guard during their first song when four of Paisley’s crew guys came on stage dressed as police officers like Comedy Central’s Reno 911! Lt. Dangle.  The band could not keep a straight face during the performance – which included dancing by the “policemen.”
Paisley was surprised himself when his good friend Jack Box, his co-star in the Jack in the Box commercials, joined him on stage during “Celebrity,” which he has performed throughout the tour with Scotty McCreery.

Special guests on the Virtual Reality World Tour have been The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery with Easton Corbin on select dates.  Kristen Kelly, Jana Kramer and Love and Theft were performers on the “Virtual Opry” stage in “The Escape Plaza” throughout the summer.
