10/19/2007 Stephen L. Betts Target stores are offering an exclusive music and video package from Carrie Underwood. With the Oct. 23 release of Carnival Ride, Carrie’s new album will be available with bonus DVD footage available only at Target stores and at www.target.com. Included with the 13-track album will be a DVD combining interview footage with live, acoustic performances of four new album songs, including Carrie’s latest Top 5 single, “So Small.” While she may be on DVD, Carrie has yet to make the transition to the big screen. But that hasn’t stopped readers at www.movies.com from choosing the country music superstar as the “American Idol Most Likely to Star in a Movie.” Carrie edged out other Idol contestants including Katherine McPhee, Chris Daughtry, Fantasia Barrino, and Blake Lewis. Carrie says that while her music will always come first, if a movie role came along that sounded like fun she’d at least be interested in reading the script.
